Poverty Alleviation by China Glory Society

　　【Activity in Jingangshan Old Revolutionary Base Area】 In order to boost the economic and social development in old revolutionary base areas and help the people of old revolutionary base areas shake off poverty and become rich, from June 8 to 9, 2011, in cooperation with the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, China Glory Society carried out the activity of “Non-public economy representatives’ Visit to Jinggangshan Old Revolutionary Base Area”. Under the leadership of Quan Zhezhu, Vice Director of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, Party Secretary and First Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice President of China Glory Society, a total of 150 directors and members of China Glory Society got involved in the event. During the activity period, some entrepreneurs came to investment agreement with Jingangshan city, 46 entrepreneurs donated funds and materials worth more than 16 million Yuan to support the local public welfare projects such as medical, special education and rural water supply projects and send condolences to the “three kinds of senior people” of local areas.

　　【Trade negotiation activities】 From June 10 to 13, 2011, China Glory Society and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce organized some private enterprises to participate in the “12th China · Qinghai Green Economy Investment Trade Fair” held in Xining under the leadership of Quan Zhezhu, Vice Director of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, Party Secretary and First Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice President of China Glory Society. On the fair, contracts were signed for projects worth amounted to 100 billion Yuan, 2 million Yuan was donated for the ethnic education and 4.04 million Yuan was donated for the education industry of the disaster area of Yushu, Qinghai.

　　【Tongxin · Glory Longyuan Action】 On July 5, 2011, China Glory Society organized in Dingxi of Gansu Province the activity of “Tongxin · Glory Longyuan Action”. More than 50 of its directors and members and some private entrepreneurs from Gansu, Shandong, Shanxi, Sichuan, Jiangxi and Ningxia attended the event. 49 project contracts worth 44.33 billion Yuan were signed with Dingxi City and 7 million Yuan was donated for Dingxi to implement the project of “Tongxin · Glory Longyuan Action”.

　　【Jingmen Action of China Glorious Cause】  From September 21 to 23, 2011, China Glory Society and Hubei People’s Government jointly organized the activity of “Jingmen Action of China Glorious Cause”. Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice President of China Glory Society Xie Jingrong attended the event and delivered a speech on behalf of China Glory Society. Relevant leaders of Hubei Province and Jingmen City including Su Xiaoyun were present at the meeting. Vice President of China Glory Society and Chairman of Board of Directors of Wuhan Baibuting Group Co., Ltd Mao Yonghong and more than 200 private entrepreneurs from the province and all over China attended the event, signed 112 project contracts with investment of 552.8 billion Yuan and donated funds and materials of 45 million Yuan.

　　【Tongxin Fund】 We organized and mobilized the directors and members to actively get involved in the “thanksgiving activity” and “Tongxin” brand construction, set up the “Tongxin · Thanksgiving Action Fund” and organized the thanksgiving action of returning society in Jinggangshan. We explored the establishment of the “Venture Capital Fund” to promote employments by entrepreneurship and projects through subsidizing university graduates, the unemployed and returned migrant workers, actively participated in the construction of Bijie Experimental Zone, coordinated the organization of merchant and investment inviting, promoted the implementation of “Tongxin · Glorious Fund for Poor Student Aiding”, continued to promote the construction of the “Glorious Online School” and raised funds to build an ophthalmology center.
